Roses from Hong Kong flower market. Beautiful color and beautiful flowers that don’t need any arrangement.
Doesn’t matter where I live I always try to have fresh flowers in my home. I don’t know about you but I could admire them for hours while dreaming of a flower garden that I would love to have.
Back to reality, my needlepoint progress. The cat’s face is close to the finish line and then a boring part – to cover the rest of the space with black DMC thread. If it’s a framed picture it would be fine to leave it just with the cat’s face embroidered, but for a cushion cover it must be embroidered throughout since it’s done on a needlepoint fabric and not on regular linen or cotton fabric.
The embroidered cat’s face looks very much like our cat’s Ah Mao only gray instead of yellow.

Розы моего любимого желтого цвета с Гонконгского цветочного базара, цветы не нуждающиеся в дополнительном украшении. Всегда, гдебы я не жила, я стараюсь иметь живые цветы в доме. В Гонконге – это легковыполнимая задача круглый год. Любуясь цветами, я мечтаю о цветах в собственном саду, который все может быть, снова у меня будет.
Возвращаясь к реальности, прогресс с вышивкой. Мордочка кота приближается к завершению и потом самая скучная часть – заполнить все остальное пространство черным мулине. Если бы это была картина, то можно было бы оставить так, просто вышитая мордочка. Но т.к. это будет наволочка на подушку и вышивка на канве, а не на ткане, то вся площадь должна быть зашита.
Вышиваемый кот очень похож на нашего красавчика Амао, только серый вместо рыжего.
